STEP 6 - HAIR AND SCALP CARE

One area for most men where extra support would be helpful, but which is very often overlooked is the SCALP.

The skin is the largest organ of the human body and it takes the most abuse from environmental toxins and the products we use every day. The scalp is no exception and could use a bit of extra care and pampering, especially for men, who may not consider it a priority beyond the daily shampoo.

The two recipes below are helpful for supporting scalp health, and the massage can help boost circulation to the hair follicles. The best part? Both recipes can be used WHILE IN THE SHOWER each morning or evening—which is something he is already doing as part of his daily regimen!

FULL HEAD OF HAIR SCALP MASSAGE BLEND RECIPE

• 7 drops Rosemary Essential Oil

• 2 drops Basil Essential Oil

• 5 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

• 3 drops Lavender Essential Oil

• 3 drops Lemongrass Essential Oil

• 2 drops Geranium Essential Oil

• 1/2 c. Carrier Oil

NEW SPROUT SUPPORT SCALP MASSAGE BLEND RECIPE

• 15 drops Rosemary Essential Oil

• 5 drops Geranium Essential Oil

For both recipes, combine ingredients in a small glass jar, and shake well before each use. To use, apply a small amount to scalp with fingertips, massaging the entire scalp. Leave on for 15–20 minutes, then rinse using warm water; or apply when first getting into the shower and rinse out just before you get out of the shower.
